Examples

This example explain Client.cfg configuration file. It is well-suited for a situation where Mbexport365 is installed in a personal client machine where user normally uses outlook as his email client. It will export the default e-mail profile, in a shared server folder named “mail”, including all accounts, all folders and all favorite (cached) public folders. Outlook will be closed, no need to leave it open for synchronization, because of daily usage (and for this reason, cache mode is treated as a normal and not as a warning condition). Mbexport365 will retain 3 copies of Log and PST files and a report e-mail will be sent through the default outlook account.
This type of export, may be manually launched by the user, or may be scheduled on his inactivity-time.

This example explain Server-PIM.cfg configuration file. It is well-suited for a situation where Mbexport365 is installed in a server machine where administrator want to export only few, but critical users data. It will check only the exporting of the default e-mail profile, in the current directory of Mbexport365 program, including all accounts (including public folders), but only selected folders. Outlook will be closed, as there is no need to leave it open for synchronization (e-mail accounts must be configured in online (non-cached) mode; in this case, the speed are not so important as for updated data). For this reason, cache mode is treated as a warning and not as a normal condition. Mbexport365 will retain 3 copies of log files (PST are not created due to the CheckOnly mode) and a report e-mail will be sent.
This type of export, may be scheduled daily.

This example explain Server-FULL.cfg configuration file. It is well-suited for a situation where Mbexport365 is installed in a server machine where administrator want to export all users data. Mbexport365 will export on a local disk (D:) in a folder named “mail” the profile named “Profile1”. All accounts, all folders and all favorite (cached) public folders will be included. Mbexport365 will launch outlook, and leave it open for a convenient amount of time in order to allow full synchronization (to take advantage of full speed, account must be in cache mode; for this reason, cache mode is treated as a normal condition, while online mode is not). Mbexport365 will retain 4 copies of Log and PST files and a report e-mail will be sent.
This type of export, may be scheduled once a week.

This screenshot show the scheduling configuration of the above Server-PIM example.
The Job will run every working days, from monday to friday and can be executed whether the user is logged on or not (outlook profile online (non-cached) mode set).

This screenshot show the scheduling configuration of the above Server-FULL example.
The Job will run once a week (saturday) and must be executed only when user is logged on (to take advantage of the outlook cache mode full speed profile in use).
